Everybody ok down there?
Just read about it, I know Detritus and some others are in NZ.
Anyone in touch with them at all? My thoughts are with the people there.

Yep, I live in Christchuch, still feeling some pretty big aftershocks. Christchurch is completely fine but there's a touristy town to the north (Kaikoura) with a few thousand people completely cut off because the only roads to the north and south of the town are blocked by pretty big slips (https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zea ... ke-says-pm). Lots of destroyed roads and stuff but nowhere near as much damage as the 2012 earthquake - since the epicenter was a lot more rural, but it sounds like it'll still cost billions to fix everything.Enok wrote:Were you down by Christchurch? Here's to hoping the alpine fault (huge faultline down the middle of the south island of New Zealand) doesn't slip...
